Video: Japan scored a brilliant goal against Holland last night

Earlier this year at the Confederations Cup, JOE became a pretty big fan of the Japanese national team after they played one of the best games of football that we’ve seen in a very long time against Italy, with both teams displaying some absolutely beautiful football from start to finish.

While we haven’t been keeping up with their progress too closely, this amazing goal appeared on our radar today and we had to share it as Keisuke Honda slotted home a lovely finish after a blistering one touch movement from the Samurai Blue left the Dutch defence chasing shadows.

Even Spain themselves would be proud of a goal that well worked, in particular seeing as Japan were 2-0 and fought back to draw 2-2, with this being the equaliser. We don’t fancy playing these lads at 5-a-side anyway.

Hat tip to 101 Great Goals for the video.
