Video: Juan Pablo Angel’s son is far better than his Dad

We’ll admit that we’re a bit late with this one, but that should be no excuse not to show you the prodigious skills of Juan Pablo Angel’s son, Tomy.

Angel, something of a cult hero among Aston Villa fans for his scoring exploits earlier this decade, is currently playing for MLS outfit Chivas USA after being shoved aside by the LA Galaxy to make room for our own Robbie Keane as the Galaxy’s latest designated player.

While in LA, his son Tomy blazed a trail through the youth leagues and on the evidence of the above clip, it’s not hard to see why.

The dribbling skills, ridiculous control with his left foot and an ability to thrive despite his diminutive size have already prompted premature comparisons with the great Lionel Messi and although it’s unlikely he’ll ever reach that status, we probably haven’t heard the last of him.
