Judging by footage of a mini-kickabout at Stamford Bridge lately, Justin Bieber is better than Fernando Torres at football at the moment.
The ‘Baby Baby’ singer joined Torres and Frank Lampard for a kickaround on Chelsea’s home ground on a visit to London recently and showed himself to be surprisingly nifty with a ball at his feet.
Free from the pressures of his recent paternity scandal, Bieber showed a few nice touches, did a few round-the worlds and struck a fearsome penalty past a prostrate Lampard, while an envious Torres bumbled an attempted trick and looked on at a man that bears more than a passing resemblance to his younger self.
Bieber, clad in a ridiculously oversized Chelsea tracksuit, then went on a tour of the dressing room and was delighted to find that the macho footballers in the Chelsea dressing room listen to his tunes to pump themselves up before kick-off.
Although we don’t think Bieber has any Irish lineage, we reckon that on this evidence, Trap and the lads should get on the case and try and get him in the squad ahead of the Euros. After all, it worked for Joe Lapira, right?
