Mario Balotelli is many things: a favourite of the tabloid presses, a guaranteed media circus, incredibly frustrating, a player who sometimes doesn't live up to his talent and causes more trouble than he's worth, and every now and then, he reminds you exactly what he really is - a world class footballer.
AC Milan took on Bologna today and although they haven't set the world alight under new coach Clarence Seedorf, results have definitely taken a turn in the right direction. That seems to be generating a sense of confidence, and while most players need that, Mario showed that he had plenty of belief in his own ability as he slammed home this late, late goal to give Milan a valuable win.
As usual, he strolls off as if it was nothing, and we're all left amazed at the sheer talent that this man possesses in his flashy boots.
