For those Manchester United fans who were hoping that Ronaldo's form would dip before their clash in February, you might want to look away now.

Ronaldo grabbed a perfect hat-trick today as Real Madrid steam rolled Getafe at home in La Liga as they try to shrink the gap between themselves and their neighbours in the capital in second place.
Ronaldo scored his first with his left, firing it across the goal and getting Madrid a second goal as a bit of a cushion, and grabbed his third by rising above the Getafe defence to powerfully head home a cross from Di Maria on the left wing.
To finish off the hat-trick, Ronaldo stepped up to slot home a penalty right footed, giving him the perfect combo, all in the space of ten minutes.
All of this means that Ronaldo has now scored 21 in 20 games this season, and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down. That record is not too shabby...
