In his first public quotes on Louis van Gaal since the Dutchman was appointed, Roy Keane has had a few kind words to say for the new Manchester United gaffer.
Keane, who also admits he welcomed David Moyes’ appointment, says that Van Gaal has the CV for the job and that he has heard that he is strict, something Roy seems to favour based on the smile that plays on his face when the topic comes up.
He also hopes that the new man gets more time than the 10 months given to his predecessor in the Old Trafford hotseat.
