One of the longest standing rivalries in Gaelic football will be renewed this Sunday in Croke Park and while it doesn’t need much of a build-up, RTE are hitting the right notes.

The clash of Kerry and Dublin will please the traditionalists and although the Kingdom have a much better record in the overall head-to-head, it is always a big fixture on the calendar, even for neutrals. The Dubs go into the clash as favourites, but only a fool would write off Eamonn Fitzmaurice and his troops and Mayo will be keeping  a close eye on proceedings as they await the victors on Sunday 22nd. Already a sell-out, it promises to be a huge occasion on Jones’ Road.
