Fiji’s Dominiko Waqaniburotu has been hit with a three game ban for this tackle on Springbok Pat Lambie.
Initially banned for six weeks, it has been reduced to three but it effectively ends the big Fijian’s World Cup.
As the recipient of the tackle, Lambie said it felt like a big hit, before adding: "There were a few. I got late tackled on one occasion. I was relieved I didn’t have too many one-on-ones with those big Fijians, but I really enjoy tackling and I don’t have any issues with it," said Lambie.
Unfortunately for Waqaniburotu, the IRB do. We here think it was a bit harsh but judge for yourself above.
