Don’t try this at home kids. Seriously, don’t try this at home.
There’s no doubting that the dishwasher is truly one of the greatest inventions of our time and even though it is a path to extreme laziness for some, you’d go a long way to hear a bad word said about it.
But it is fit for one purpose and one purpose only and that purpose is not to provide an alternative to the shower or a bath if those two methods of washing yourself are unavailable for some reason.
That didn’t prevent one young Waterford lad from removing the internal dishwasher trays and squeezing himself into a dishwasher – an impressive feat in any circumstances but especially so considering he was wearing a pair of giant flippers – and subsequently having the door closed and the machine turned on while he was still inside.
You’ll see that he didn’t get very wet, but the door was definitely closed and the lights to indicate that the dishwasher was turned on were definitely illuminated before he emerged unscathed a few minutes later.
We hardly need to remind readers that this isn’t something they should do at home, a lesson this lad will no doubt learn when he’s picking lumps of potato out of his ears for the next few weeks.
