There are few things greater in life than a loop the loop car stunt - even if it's just in Scalextric. With that in mind, feast your eyes on the new real-life world record.
The new record was achieved by Li Yatao of the Zhejiang Youngman Lotus Automobile, whose loop the loop measured 42 ft in a Lotus L5 Sportback. The previous record of 40 ft had been set in 2009 by stunt performer Steve Truglia in a Toyota Avgo.
Though the stunt was performed in Shanghai last year, the official Guinness World Record YouTube page has only uploaded a crystal-clear video of the effort last week, so we've helpfully embedded it for you.
Take a look at the stunning feat above but please be sure to turn down your headphones first. With no exaggeration, the whooping Chinese female host may be the world's most annoying woman.
