The run in the build-up was great but the finish was just sublime.

It’s a bit of a ding-dong affair at Old Trafford today (at the time of writing, the visitors lead 2-1) but no matter what the final score is, it’ll be hard to top the opening goal by West Brom’s Morgan Amalfitano. Taking on seemingly half of the United defence, Amalfitano embarrassed Rio Ferdinand and then showed great patience to delay his finish before dinking a glorious effort over David de Gea for a shock West Brom lead. 01 by 89ly Wayne Rooney equalised a few minutes later but Saido Berahino has restored the Baggies’ lead and that might not be the end of it yet.
