Vine: Contestant gives hilariously bad response to question about Gareth Bale on TV quiz show

It was an easy mistake to make in fairness… NAAT!

Considering that he’s the most expensive player in the world and plays for the biggest club in the world, you’d assume that most people with the faintest interest in football would have an idea who Gareth Bale is and where he comes from.

Even if you didn’t know anything about football, however, you’d still be able to hazard a far better guess to a question about Bale’s nationality than one contestant on ITV quiz show ‘Ejector Seat’ when it was put to him last night…

He knows that AC Milan isn’t a country, right? And that Italy is far away from Wales… ah never mind.

After racking our brains to remember where he had heard something like this before, it suddenly hit us…
