RTÉ pundit Eamon Dunphy failed to see the red ‘on air’ light as he used some particularly spicy language minutes before Brazil’s clash with Mexico this evening.
With Dietmar Hamann absent mindedly checking his phone beside him, Eamon dropped the F-bomb before an addled Bill O’Herlihy quickly reminded him that he was on air, and Dunphy quickly apologised.
Hopefully this won’t go any further as it seemed to us it was a genuine mistake.
And we hope he never changes.
