Not a bad way to mark your first league start…

18-year old Wilson has been touted as a future star at Old Trafford and he was given an opportunity to impress in a very experimental side named by interim manager Ryan Giggs, who could make his last ever appearance at Old Trafford if he brings himself off the bench.

Wilson didn’t take long to make his mark, latching onto a Marouane Fellaini knockdown (his first assist in the Premier League this season) knockdown to smash the ball home and give the hosts a 1-0 lead going in at half-time.

It might be early days for Wilson, but as far as starting as he means to go on is concerned, he’s certainly going the right way about it.
