FIFA Congress was held in Sao Paulo last night, an event where the members discuss the future of the association and the big issues within the sport and to quote FIFA: “It approves the annual report, decides on the acceptance of new national associations and holds elections, most notably for the FIFA presidency. In the spirit of true democracy, each national association has one vote, regardless of its size or footballing strength”.
This is a serious event, not one to be messing around at. Someone should have told the President…
