Are you currently out of work? Do you want a change of field? Maybe you should apply for this job. A firm of private investigators in Australia is advertising for a ‘brothel inspector.’ Yes, we’re serious.

If you’ve always dreamed of snooping around seedy brothels and proving that the brothels are indeed ACTUAL brothels, then this could be the job for you. The lucky applicant will get a £50,000 a year salary and the prestigious title of “Brothel Buster Investigator.”

The Lyonswood Investigations and Forensic Group in Sydney placed the advert in a careers magazine. The company stated that applicants for the postion had to be unmarried, preferably single and willing to have protected sex with prostitutes. Oh and they also had to be willing to provide sworn evidence in court.

Lachlan Jarvis, the operations manager for the Investigation company, said that the job involved visiting suspected illegal brothels and gathering evidence to prove they were offering sexual services. Yes, “evidence.”

So basically all you have to do is agree to knock boots with a prostitute.

“Some jobs require the offering of sexual services, some actually require the partaking of sexual services because it is considered the most convincing evidence,” Mr Jarvis said.

It is no surprise that the job advertisement has already attracted a LOT of attention from male job seekers in Sydney.

Getting paid to get nasty and you can just use the excuse: “Hey, it’s not prostitution, it’s my JOB.” Sorted.
