West Brom's Saido Berahino was not thrilled that Steve Clarke was sacked (NSFW language)
He really wasn't sitting on the fence when it came to letting his feelings be known
Surprisingly enough, West Brom's Steve Clarke was the man who bit the bullet last night as sacking season really gets in to full swing. With a number of other managers under pressure, it seems that we weren't the only ones caught off guard by his firing, after Saido Berahino took to Twitter with a pretty emphatic message.
However, Berahino was quick enough to take that tweet down and he claims there has been a bit of confusion over the whole thing, as he tried to clarify what exactly was going on.
By the way i apologise for my last tweet. This was related to a personal issue and nothing else. Please don't take the wrong way.

He later claimed that it was something to do with him getting a flat tyre and posted up a picture to back that up, but then later decided to delete that too, so maybe he decided that wasn't the best cover story.
Youssouf Mulumbu was less inclined to take back his comments though as he also took to Twitter to express his surprise and dissatisfaction with what had happened to Clarke last night.
Sad day and really sad news to hear about Steve Clark getting sacked... I feel sorry for the manager, us player are on the pitch but he is

Early betting suggests that a shock return for Di Matteo is on the cards at 4/1, but the newly unemployed Martin Jol's name is also being floated about at odds of 6/1 over at Ladbrokes.
