Break-ups can be a stressful time with emotions running high. One woman in Dorset found comfort in rabbits. 88 of them to be precise.

Charlene Blackley was given a pet rabbit called Flopsy by her boyfriend but when the relationship ended she began acquiring more of them.
The Telegraph reports that she became very upset when Flopsy escaped, so friends bought her more bunnies while she continued to purchase more herself.
Soon however the rabbits were doing what rabbits do best and the house was over-run. Charlene had become the rabbit equivalent of a cat-lady.
After a tip-off, the RSPCA found 59 rabbits in hutches in the back garden and 29 more in cages in her bedroom. There were so many upstairs that Blackley resorted to living downstairs.
The authorities described the awful smell in the house as some of the rabbits were severely neglected and one has already died despite the discovery.
Blackley was charged with animal cruelty and banned for keeping rabbits for five years after using them as ‘an emotional crutch’.
Our visual of a woman up to her eye balls in rampant rabbits has seriously changed...
