Yaya Toure takes to Twitter to respond to the no-birthday-greeting-transfer-request-story
It's all about Yaya Toure today folks.
Stories broke earlier that he was looking to leave Manchester City because they didn't wish him a happy birthday. Then proof emerged that indeed they had rolled out the cake for him. So, he took to Twitter to try, and fail, to clarify:
Firstly, he has a laugh about it....
Thanks for all the birthday messages today. Card from City just arrived... Must have got lost in the post. Haha

Then he got a little serious....
Jokes aside. Please do not take words that do not come out of MY mouth seriously. Judge my commitment to @MCFC by my performances.

He then got a little cryptic....
My agent was trying to make a point here on my behalf, joke aside. It seems important for me to make a statement..i am going to do so.

And he finished off by saying....
Everything dimitry said is true . He speaks for me . I will give an interview after world cup to explain

So Yaya, we're glad you've cleared all that up. Does anyone actually know what's going on here?
