Another of our lucky JOE readers was in Arnotts recently to ‘Up His Game’ with the €1000 Arnotts menswear voucher he won here on the site. So we decided to head along to see what threads he picked out.
Let’s face it lads, while most of us might be able to select a brilliant Fantasy Football team or pick our top five favourite songs from Family Guy, when it comes to clothes many of us struggle.
If half our socks disappear or some jocks finally fall apart we will definitely head out to get some replacements but the more stylish stuff can be as baffling as the appeal of Justin Bieber.
So what’s a man to do if he needs some new clobber? Well the good people at Arnotts have just the thing. They have a personal shopper to hold your hand (metaphorically not physically) through the process and the latest winner of our Up Your Game competition, Joe Walsh, got the chance to see how it works. We thought the only decent thing to do was tag along.
Joe not only won the expert eye of Clara Halpin, Arnotts personal shopper, for a few hours he also won €1,000 to spend in the store. Not bad, eh?
Like most of us, Joe needed a new suit, with an eye to doing a few interviews, and a few other staples to pad out his wardrobe and with the expert eye of Clara, he was soon sorted out.
With the new suit in the bag, Joe was also kitted out in chinos, hightops and a couple of very stylish shirts, ensuring that he will be covered for all occasions for the foreseeable future.
