JOE and Corona help you Find Your Beach – Partying on Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza

Up this week is JOE and Corona's perfect party weekend and we’re making our way to Playa d’en Bossa in Ibiza.

JOE

White sandy beaches, lovely ladies in bikinis and a cool Corona in your hand… the perfect Summer situation.

However, let’s not forget that we are in Ireland after all (not magnificent Mexico), so the chances of all of that happening here are few and far between.

Every week, JOE brings you some brilliant beach ideas that you can try out while the sun still shines. So whether it’s planning an insane weekend with the lads, or an indulgent weekend away with the lady friend, we spread the JOEspiration to help lads Find Their Beach.

It’s all in association with the good people at Corona who are giving away a VIP trip for two to Mexico. To be in with a chance to win, just visit the Corona Facebook page here.

Up this week is our perfect party weekend and we’re making our way to the beautiful Mediterranean island of Ibiza, one of the party capitals of the world.

Remember, as our Granny used to say, what happens in Ibiza, stays in Ibiza.

Mainly because no one can remember what happened in Ibiza.

One of the brilliant things about the gorgeous location is that, because it is a relatively small island, most of the beaches are no more than a few hours drive away… for your designated driver that is.

JOE’s top recommendation though is to head straight for Playa d’en Bossa, the longest stretch of sand on the island and it’s situated only 10 minutes away from the iconic Ibiza Town.

Perhaps the most exciting thing about Playa d’en Bossa though, is that it is home to one of the most famous nightclubs in the world – Space.

The club hosts all sorts of parties these days, although there is still a huge demand for its techno tradition. One of the original homes of the Ibiza dance scene, the club’s prime location beneath the flight path of incoming aeroplanes means that new arrivals to the island are greeted by a sea of hands all waving from the Space terrace. Legendary stuff.

You really are spoilt for choice on Playa d’en Bossa as clubs Bora Bora and Ushuaia are also only a couple of hundred metres away so, just in case your Garda Age Card doesn’t work in Space, you’ve still got plenty of options.

And, for that crucial afternoon-after-the-night-before, the beach offers plenty of restaurants and activites to help you recover before you get stuck into another night of pure debauchery

In recent years, the local government has tried to clamp down on the excessive partying (boooo, hissss) that the island is famous for, and so have introduced a cut-off closing time of, ahmm, 6am.

6am? That’s bound to sort it out alright.

In the meantime you can head to loveibiza for all of your Ibiza beach enquiries.

Now that you’re in the mood to go partying at a beautiful Ibiza beach, you should enter our exclusive Beach Break competition in association with Corona Extra and Corona Light.
