The weather in Ireland over the last few weeks has been as inconsistent as Rory McIlroy’s, golf with rain and sunshine alternating every other hour. The weather went to another level last night as thunder and lightning kept half the country awake but it made for some spectacular viewing in places, as these photos from West Cork attest.
