Detective Ciarán Madden had a few harsh words to say about his 2000 SEAT Inca in the latest episode of Love/Hate, but thanks to some creative PR from SEAT Ireland, he has since changed his tune…
If you watched the latest episode of Love/Hate you would have seen Detective Ciarán Madden, played by Kieran O’Reilly, driving around in a beaten up old SEAT Inca. If you were watching carefully you would have also noticed that Ciarán wasn’t exactly a fan of his SEAT, calling it “shitty” at one point.
To be fair, the van is pushing 14-years-old at this stage and God only knows what it has had to lug around in the back over all those years…
So the good folk at SEAT Ireland jumped on the opportunity to change Ciarán’s – or Kieran’s, as the case may be – mind by giving the actor a sporty SEAT Leon CUPRA, which comes with either a 265hp petrol engine or the slightly larger 280hp petrol version, to test drive for a few days.
Needless to say, Kieran seemed to enjoy his time in the CUPRA.
