Everyone’s favourite childhood comic book has given a special nod to everyone’s favourite TV priest…
The latest Beano Special Edition came free in several UK newspapers on Saturday, but that’s no use to a lot of us. Thankfully, the special edition is currently available over on the Beano.com website and it features a very special Fr. Ted reference…
The first comic in the special edition, called ‘Menaces Rule Beanotown,’ features a protest over a rollercoaster and two of the adults in attendance can be seen holding the famous Fr. Ted protest placards, which read: ‘Down with this sort of thing,’ and ‘Careful now.’
You can check the entire comic here for old time’s sake… Be warned: it doesn’t come with a free chewy candy bar (don’t lie, the free stuff was one of the main reasons most of us bought a comic back in the day).
