There’s something unique about cycling injuries that makes them look infinitely worse when compared to other sports.
Maybe it’s the speed of the bike before a collision, the impact of flesh hitting concrete or the fact that most cyclists have minimal protection against the elements.
This injury sustained by Italian cyclist Daniele Colli isn’t for the squeamish and he definitely won’t be in the saddle for a few weeks after he picked up this fairly gruesome injury.
Here’s hoping that the Nippo-Vini Fantini cyclist will make a quick recovery.
