To be honest, I hope they walk into a tree.
Smart phones are probably the best invention since the Super Nintendo but there are some drawbacks to constantly having them in your hand.
There’s nothing worse than being in the company of someone who just can’t stop checking their phone, checking-in to place and taking streams of annoying selfies.
We get it, you love yourself.
Keeping in touch with your mates is fine but there’s an acceptable time and place for sending a text message on your phone. Waking in public isn’t one of them.
This problem doesn’t exist in the texting-obsessed Belgian city of Antwerp though after they introduced a pedestrian lane that’s exclusively catered for people that can’t stop texting while they’re walking.
Call me harsh, but if someone can’t find the time, brains or manners to send a text message without running the risk of walking into someone else thus causing an accident, then they deserve to walk straight into a wall.
