There’s an erotic festival taking place in an Irish castle and the owner is not pleased

We're not quite sure what to say about this

Talk about a ‘touchy’ subject.

A sexual freedom event is taking place in the grounds of Narrow Water Castle in Co Down, overlooking Carlingford Lough and the itinerary includes events like massages, sex workshops and rituals.

Colour us intrigued.

The event is called the Bliss Summer Festival and it’s running from August 7th until 10th.

The events organisres, Bliss Ireland, have exclusively planned the event in order to promote sexual health and they maintain that it’s going to be an alcohol and drugs free zone.

This hasn’t stopped one of the venues trustees, Sir William Hall, from getting extremely upset at the prospect of such an event taking place in his beloved castle.

“Lewdness and lasciviousness will be the theme of this occasion”, according to Hall.

“Sex toys will be on sale, talks will be given which may purport to be serious but the real object is the giving of sexual titillation and gratification to the participants in the festival”.

“Nudity and acts of sexual intercourse will be prevalent.”

“The notion that the people attending this festival will restrict their lewd behaviour to the privacy of tents and that there will be no abuse of alcohol or drugs is completely fanciful.”

But the Bliss Ireland website states that they organise the events to promote sexual freedom, health and pleasure in mind, body and spirit.

It seems this event, contrary to what you may believe is strictly educational, but when you see workshops named ‘The G-spot experience” and “Orgasmic yoga; mindful self-pleasuring”, it is easy to see why people might tget he wrong idea.

Hat tip to the Irish Examiner.
