The Irish people love it.
While the final Leader’s Debate is set to take most of the political focus this evening, Vincent Browne completed his mammoth task of 40 broadcasts around the country last night and The People’s Debate couldn’t have asked for a better location, Mayo.
Enda Kenny may have apologised for his ‘whingers’ comment but as always with any broadcast with Vincent Browne, he didn’t shy away from asking the tough questions.
The People’s Debate may have wrapped up BUT people on twitter were quick to praise the talented journalist for providing a valuable and rigorous examination of Ireland’s political and cultural landscape.
On a very nice note, Browne signed off by thanking his entire crew for another job well done.
Here’s the highlights.

The #vinb senate is not a debate. It's a trap to round up all the weird people in Mayo. Get out now. It's a ploy. Save yourselves.

to Vincent for trying to shake up political debate & especially while he's battled illness. He's genuinely been passionate about it 2/2
