VIDEO: Here’s a filthy rap to mark Coppers’ 20th birthday

Garry Carroll

“I was busting loads of moves along to C’est La Vie”

Copper Face Jacks celebrated their 20th birthday and what better way to mark this very momentous occasion than with a filthy, dancey, dirty beat rap tune.

We laid down some sweet, sweet lyrics to help you relive the memories of many a special night in one of Ireland’s most popular establishments.

You can check out LOADS of other Coppers-based shenanigans from over the years by clicking here.

Enjoy!

And here are the lyrics in full, just in case you wanted to recite them at a poetry evening or something.

A Night Out In Coppers

(Music and lyrics by Garry Carroll and sexy moves by Al Foran)

Coppers is the place where I popped me cherry

in the jacks, out the back with some bird from Kerry.

My hand was down the pants.

Her hand was down the pants.

In fact, everybody’s hand was down a pair of pants.

I had a Jägerbomb. I lied, I had 14

and I was busting loads of moves along to C’est La Vie.

And then this bird from Clare with curly auburn hair

starts shifting me while twerking on a plastic chair.

Twice in a night I’ve scored and gotten me hole.

There’s nothing better than some pleasure on a toilet bowl.

The DJ drops another beat, it’s by Darude, it’s a whopper.

See the craic is only mighty on a night out in Coppers.

Ah’right!

Happy bleedin’ birthday Coppers!
