“Who is Pint Baby?” was beginning to become a thing of legend, like “Who shot JR?” and “Can someone explain Twin Peaks to me?”
Just a few days after the sixteen second clip went mega-viral, RTÉ journalist Cian McCormack – who unearthed the old footage in the first place – found the now 20-year-old ‘Pint Baby’ Stephen Barron, along with his mother Caroline, in Prosperous in Co Kildare.
Appearing on RTE News One this evening, Stephen says “You couldn’t really get any more Irish. A baby drinking a pint of Guinness.”
His mother says that despite his early start, Stephen hasn’t taken to the drink in a big way since then.
