We stumbled across this brochure from Lidl which was showcasing the brand’s ‘Bare Necessities’ range and found something rather strange in the bottom left corner.
Along with men’s and ladies’ seamless vests and seamless boxer briefs for men, was an item called men’s work trousers which looked nothing like men’s working trousers at all…

Men of Ireland can now breathe a sigh of relief as it turns out that the women’s underwear which was labelled as men’s work trousers are in fact, just underwear.
Lidl Ireland took to Twitter to clear up the whole situation.
In a tweet the company said:
“Dear men of Ireland, we would like to confirm that this was a typo in our newsletter, please DO NOT go to work in just there. Thanks, Lidl.”
Well, thank the heavens for that.
