Oh… My…. God!
It appears that everyone’s favourite streaming service is teasing that Friends could be the newest show in their ranks.
Netflix UK & Ireland took to their Twitter to post a cryptic message; alluding to the fact that Friends is the next on their list.
The tweet, which says: ”The One with the Show Everyone’s Been Asking Us to Add” is quite obviously a take on the Friends’ episode names, which all start with ”The One where/with.”

Could it be?
This isn’t their first time pulling a stunt like this, so we think it may be. Netflix did this exact thing not too long ago with The Fresh Prince, a show which is enjoying mass popularity on the streaming site.
However, it appears that mixed reviews are the order of the day – as Netflix’s latest tease has very much divided the masses. Some took to Twitter to voice their opinion.
No. Seriously? I fricking LOVE Friends, BUT it is literally on UK tv every single day. There is absolutely no need for this monstrosity. BRING. BACK. THE. OFFICE. ASAP. AS. POSSIBLE.

Can we get Frasier instead of Friends please? Cheers. 🙂

People have mentioned that Friends is quite literally on a constant rerun on Comedy Central and as such there is no need for the move – while others have rebuttaled that not everyone has television access, and adding Friends would be a welcome move.
At time of writing, the show isn’t currently on Netflix Ireland – but only time will tell if that changes.
