Investigations are ongoing.
It’s understood that a 28-year-old woman is in critical condition following an incident that took place in Drogheda, Co Louth.
The incident took place at Rathmullen Park in Drogheda on Friday, 9 March.
The woman involved in the incident remains in critical condition at Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital.
Gardaí have not released any more details on how the woman was injured and why it happened but they have confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
Gardaí have also confirmed that the scene is currently preserved.
