Emirates are looking to hire Irish cabin crew for tax-free jobs

The world’s largest international airline, Emirates, are on the lookout for Irish staff to join them due to the “continued growth” of the airline.

They Dubai-based airline are looking for men and women to fill new positions and will be holding a cabin crew recruitment Open Day/CV drop off on Friday, 27 April from 9am to 4pm at Hilton Dublin, Charlemont Place.

The employment package includes some pretty sweet-sounding deals. These include a tax-free income, free shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work and also health and dental cover.

Emirates workers and their families also receive discounts and travel benefits with the airline.

But there are certain criteria that you have to fit in order to be eligible to apply for the job. Firstly, you have to be at least 21-years-old at the time of joining and have an arm reach of 212cm when standing on your tiptoes.

Enda Corneille, Country Manager for Emirates in Ireland spoke about what the airline is looking for from interested applicants.

“Our cabin crew are open-minded, helpful, friendly and service-oriented and that’s what we need from candidates in order to deliver Emirates’ award-winning onboard experience to customers,” Corneille said.

“This open day is a great opportunity for people to get their career off to a flying start. Applicants just need to drop in to the Open Day with an up-to-date CV in English and a recent photograph. Pre-registration is not required.”

Recently, Emirates also announced that they were looking for the “finest male and female pilots” in Ireland.
