Evangeline Lilly on kicking ass as The Wasp and REALLY wanting a personal tour guide around Ireland

Rory Cashin

“It’s about damn time.”

Those were the final words of Evangeline Lilly’s character in the first Ant-Man movie, so we knew for the sequel, she would be donning The Wasp’s suit and saving the world on her own.

However, several years and a few wars later (Civil and the upcoming Infinity, specifically), and Lilly and her movie-dad Michael Douglas are on the run because of the actions of Paul Rudd, and she is not one bit happy about it.

On the other hand, Lilly herself is only-too-happy to be part of Ant-Man And The Wasp, with the only minor let-down being that she didn’t get to kick enough ass this time.

We also chat at length about her strong Irish heritage, how much she wants an Irish local to give her a proper tour of the country, as well as what her favourite MCU movie to date is.

Check out our full interview right here:

On top of Lilly, we also chatted to her Ant-Man co-star Paul Rudd, her movie dad Michael Douglas, and the movie’s director Peyton Reed. You can check all those chats out right here.

Ant-Man And The Wasp is in Irish cinemas from Friday 3 August, and you can check out the trailer right here:
