Black Mirror Season 5

You wanted Black Mirror, they gave you Black Mirror. Lots of it.

It seems like an eternity since we last watched a new episode of Black Mirror.

Since then, we’ve been forced to reduce ourselves to reading theories and putting together the dots that Charlie Brooker has scattered around various social media accounts.

We have come to terms with the fact that the new season of Black Mirror won’t be coming to Netflix until 2019, but we do have a Christmas special to sink our teeth into, and that’s coming very soon.

The special, entitled Bandersnatch, is set to be released on Netflix on 28 December, and it sounds like it’s going to be a crazy experience altogether.

The episode is rumoured to clock in at around 1 hour and 30 minutes, matching the feature length runtime of White Christmas, the Christmas special episode starring Jon Hamm that aired in 2014.

And although it’s set to clock in at 90 minutes, that’s not all of the footage that has been recorded.

Reports suggest that this will be the episode that will allow each individual viewer to decide how it ends.

And it looks like we won’t be short of options. Reports suggest that Bandersnatch has 312 minutes of interactive footage, allowing viewers to dictate the events of the film.

We are so excited for this, and we don’t have long to wait for it at all.
