The Last Dance

You don’t even need to be a sports fan to be excited about this.

Michael Jordan. Barack Obama. Kobe Bryant. Scottie Pippen. Dennis Rodman. Carmen Electra. Magic Johnson. Justin Timberlake.

All of the above and a lot more feature in the latest promo for The Last Dance and that’s just a 60-second teaser, so you can only imagine what ESPN are going to pack into a 10-part documentary series coming in June of next year.

Chances are you’ve heard rumblings about it already.

ESPN have been talking about it for well over a year at this stage and with good reason as The Last Dance will chronicle Michael Jordan, arguably the greatest basketballer of all time, and the 1990s Chicago Bulls, one of the most successful and iconic dynasties in world sport.

Focussing on Jordan’s final season with the Bulls in 1997-98, when they won their sixth NBA Championship of that decade, The Last Stand will feature never-before-seen behind the scenes footage and, as flagged above, contributions from some of the main figures in that iconic Bulls team, from the NBA past and present and from plenty more recognisable faces from outside the world of sport.

ESPN are doing a bang-up job creating excitement about The Last Dance and their latest promo is no different; we can’t wait for this to drop in June.
