Glen of Aherlow Looped Walks, Co. Tipperary

The Galtee Mountains in Co. Tipperary are lovingly referred to as a walker’s paradise, and we can see why. The Glen Of Aherlow is one of Ireland’s most breath-taking walking spots, and it should be top of your list if you’re heading to Tipperary this summer.

Take your pick from one of the eight looped walks on Slievenamuck or the two linear walks in the Galtee Mountains. These routes vary in difficulty, so you’re bound to find one that suits your ability. Regardless of which hike you chose, you’ll be offered unparalleled views of the unspoiled Tipperary countryside.

The Irish Experience, Co. Wexford

The Hook Peninsula in Co. Wexford is home to hidden sandy beaches, craggy sea caves and a diverse marine life, and The Irish Experience lets you explore this unique geological site for yourself.

On this three-hour, fully guided tour you’ll weave around the stunning Wexford coast. Enjoy a hot chocolate at the tour’s halfway point and keep your eyes peeled for seals, dolphins and basking sharks along the way.

Fatbike Adventures, Co. Wicklow

Fatbike Adventures offer cycling experiences like no other with their unique bikes that are equipped to take you over a variety of terrain.

Slieve Bloom Mountains, Co. Laois and Co. Offaly

The Slieve Bloom Mountains lie between counties Laois and Offaly, and are among Europe’s oldest mountains. At one point in history, they were even the highest.

Today, they make for an adventurous day out, with activities to suit every taste. Hike along the mountains’ many loop walks or cycle across the Slieve’s 35km of mountain bike trails. Take a dip in the Cathole Falls on the Owenass River, which can be reached from the nearby Rosenallis village. If horse-riding is more your vibe, you can even embark on a trek with the Birr Equestrian Centre.

Go With The Flow, Co. Carlow

Get back to nature with a guided canoe tour along the intricate waterways of River Barrow in Co. Carlow.

On a Go With The Flow tour, you’ll learn the skills you’ll need to navigate the trail. Then, once on board your canoe, you’ll flow through the weirs and rapids as you take in vistas of scenic waterfalls, the old lock keeper cottages and the ruins of Carlow Castle.
