Rumours are circulating that he has gone to ground, but Tayto is seeking the public’s help.
Tayto has said it does not know the whereabouts of Mr Tayto, and has urged the public to be on the lookout for the much-loved personality.
Mr Tayto has been missing from the front of Tayto’s iconic Cheese & Onion crisp packets, while his social media accounts also appear to show the crisp tycoon curiously absent.

It’s understood the purveyors of the Tayto estate were initially worried the maestro may have had a snack-cident, but after some contact from intermediaries, they are confident Mr Tayto is safe and well, although his location is still unknown.

With no credible leads Tayto HQ are seeking the public’s help in locating the crisp connoisseur by submitting any sightings, updates, or theories on his whereabouts.
Tips and sightings can be submitted on social media using #whereismrtayto? via Instagram, TikTok and Twitter pages or by going to the MrTayto Facebook page.
Tayto has also set up a Whereismrtayto.ie website specifically designed to try and track the movements of the red-coated crunch merchant, while a limited edition run of its famous Cheese & Onion pack with a QR code has been launched by Tayto for people to scan to help track him down.

Tayto were quick to dismiss rumours that they’re worried about Mr Tayto to JOE and instead issued a lengthy official statement in response to JOE queries.
