Each year, when Valentine’s Day rolls around, we always promise ourselves that we’ll step up our gift game, and go beyond the flowers, the chocolates and the fancy dinner. And, each year, we let time get away from us, and end up settling on, you guessed it, the flowers, the chocolates and the fancy dinner.
This year, however, the folks at Roe & Co have answered our Valentine’s Day prayers with a unique experience that you and your partner will cherish for years. On Tuesday, the distillery will be hosting Galentine’s at Roe & Co, a night geared towards groups of friends, while Wednesday night is An Evening of Roe-mance, which is especially geared towards couples.
Book your spot at one of the Dublin distillery’s workshops and you’ll get the chance to share a truly remarkable date with that special someone. Enjoy some whiskey and chocolate pairings, sample a tasty welcome cocktail and get to grips with the art of mixology at an expert-led workshop.

A warm welcome
Upon arrival, you and your partner will be greeted into the stunning Roe & Co Distillery with a welcome drink. Take a moment to appreciate the decadent surroundings before the Valentine’s Day experience begins.
A decadent chocolate experience
Following the welcome reception, you’ll be whisked away by an expert tour guide through the active distillery and into Room 106, where a unique sampling experience awaits. The decadent chocolates, which are handmade by Irish chocolatier Tara Gartlan, have been hand-selected by the Roe & Co team to complement the notes of their fine whiskey.
A Valentine’s Day cocktail workshop
Following the chocolate and whiskey tasting session, you’ll get to grips with mixology at a cocktail making workshop. There, you and your partner will get to decide which flavours suit your palate best in order to create a bespoke Valentine’s Day whiskey cocktail. After the workshop, you will be welcomed into the cosy Power House Bar where you can sip on your creation. Before leaving, you’ll be gifted a small token from the Roe & Co Distillery to take home with you.
