Pint lovers, take note — Heineken® has just launched a brand new glass, and they’re inviting you to be one of the first to experience it by giving away complimentary pints in very specially selected pubs across Ireland.
Mysterious stars have been appearing all over the country, leaving locals wondering what is going on. Well, we’ve cracked it – the clue’s in the name. The brand-new Heineken glass has been landing all across the country, with the iconic star front and centre. Literally.
The Heineken star is an icon. It’s a symbol of star quality, and now, the shape of the glass reflects that. The angular base bounces light around in all directions, making your pint look bang-on from every angle. And when the foam sits perfectly on the tip of the star? That’s the sign of a flawless pour. Imagine the Instagram stories on a sunny day to come.
On Thursday, 24th April, four pubs around the country will feature a Heineken® Star marker — either as a mural or a light projection. If you spot one, you’re in the right place.
But here’s the catch: it’s happening for one day only and, fittingly, at selected pubs with 'glass' in their name. Only the first 150 visitors in each pub will be able to take part, so make sure you have your phone at the ready.
To take part, just:
These are the only spots in the country where you’ll find the Heineken Star and your free pint on the day:
Glasson Lakehouse, Glasson, Co. Westmeath
Tolka House, Glasnevin, Dublin
Paddy’s Bar, Terryglass, Co. Tipperary
The Baltinglass Inn (Timmins Bar), Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow
If you're 18+, enjoy Heineken® and appreciate a well-crafted pint, this is a one-day-only moment worth checking out.
Just don’t leave it too late — once the 150 pints per pub are claimed, that’s it.
