Wisetek, which employs 450 staff globally, normally upgrades and reuses e-waste assets like laptops, desktops and disk drives but over the past 5 weeks, the company has transformed the production lines in their Cork plant into making ventilators for usage in Irish hospitals.

The staff members have come together in an incredible way to ensure these machines are getting to where they are needed, including some senior managers picking up old carpentry skills to make units to transport the ventilators.
