Terrorist group targets Jedward. Seriously…

Do you think Jedward are annoying? Well, you’re not the only one because apparently a terrorist group have threatened to target the twins at the Eurovision song contest. Yes, we’re surprised it took THIS long for a death threat too…

The Irish Independent reports that the Azeri terrorists, an Islamic group, have said that they will target the participants of this year’s song competition, which includes the spikey-haired duo. They obviously heard ‘Waterline’ on the radio then so…

Apparently the Azeri are against the contest taking place in Azerbaijan in May because it will be full of “European scum.” Lovely. The group has threatened to use “knives and chemical weapons” at the competition if it does go ahead. So this year’s Eurovision Song Contest could very well turn into a bloodbath during the voting process.

The terrorist group issued a statement yesterday which said: “Blood of the European scum must be shed by the will of Allah.” They sound like an absolute barrel of laughs, don’t they?

The group also said that the song contest is “a nightmare of all Muslims.” Maybe so, but it’s also a fecking nightmare of those of us watching it at home.

The statement was issued after the Azeri authorities decided to crackdown on the group ahead of the contest. Apparently 17 members were arrested and one blew himself up in protest during a recent raid on their base made by police.

Jedward and other participants have now been granted additional security just in case someone decides to try and take them out.

According to reports the 2012 Eurovision is expected to be the most expensive Eurovision that has ever been staged. Azeri organisers of the event are spending an eye-watering €50million on the competition. Yes €50million so dodgy singers in dodgy clothes can squawk out dodgy songs. They know that there is people starving in the world, right?

Anyway, Jedward are continuing to have some pre-contest chart success across Europe and have currently secured the number one spot in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia. Yeah. We don’t get it either.
