Andrew Scott has been nominated for award after award after his moving performance in All Of Us Strangers.
And of course, Paul Mescal is set to become one of our biggest stars ahead of his role in Gladiator II.
And as they become more famous, their level of fans increases too.
If a non-famous Paul Mescal walked by you in Dunnes Stores, you likely wouldn’t do a double take.
But the actor has officially been crowned the sexiest Irish celebrity and who are we to disagree?

A recent AI experiment ran five images of 50 Irish celebrities through an artificial intelligence beauty calculator to find the most attractive Irish star.
It then revealed the top 20 most attractive Irish stars but the results may surprise you.
Irish actress Charlie Murphy was revealed as the most attractive female celebrity on the list.
Actress Sarah Bolger, wrestler Becky Lynch, and singer Hozier also featured in the top five, alongside Mescal.
Saoirse Ronan, Niall Horan, Robert Sheehan, and Jessie Buckley also featured in the top 20.
Major Irish actors missing from the top 20
Noticeable Irish stars are missing from the list including Andrew Scott and Barry Keoghan.
Cillian Murphy and Colin Farrell also aren’t featured in the top 20 so it’s safe to say we don’t fully agree with this list.
The study was conducted by online casino Tonybet.
A spokesperson for Tonybet said their findings shed light on current trends.
“Attractive celebrities often enjoy greater popularity and influence, impacting trends in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Identifying the most and least attractive Irish celebrities shed light on current trends and societal preferences.”
All I’ll say is the AI calculator needs to appreciate Andrew Scott a little more.
