The best pub in Dublin has been revealed

Alan Loughnane

Guinness

Well deserved…

Kehoe’s pub, on South Anne Street has been named the best pub in Dublin by the Licensed Vintners Association (LVA) on Friday night.

The LVA are celebrating their bicentenary and celebrated it with an event in the Mansion House on Dawson Street.

Kehoe’s were presented with the honour at the event as voted by other members of the LVA in Dublin.

Kehoe’s is a traditional Irish pub that was first licensed in 1803 and throughout the years the pub has maintained a typical Victorian style look which was the norm at the time.

The pub is the perfect spot to a have a nice pint of Guinness either in front of the fire upstairs or in one of its quiet corners.

But where do you go if you want to get some top notch pub food in Dublin?

It seems you should head to The Bank Bar on College Green, which was voted the best pub for food by other publicans in Dublin.
