The Back Page pub in Phibsborough is one of our favourite spots in the city - in fact, they recently won the award for Irish Sports Bar of The Year and held another brilliant It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia Halloween party - but they're now focusing on helping children this Christmas.
Every year, The Back Page hosts a fundraiser called Bring The Toys where they collect toys and donations for those sick children that are in need of medical attention at the Children’s University Hospital, Temple Street. All of the gifts, presents and donations are collected under their Christmas tree before they're dropped off to Temple Street in time for Christmas.
The organisers have called on as many people as possible to help, donate and spread the word. The final date for donations is December 2nd, deliberately chosen because it's the same night as the Late Late Toy Show, and the pub will also have some entertainment in the bar on that particular night.
More details can be found here and it's definitely something that everyone can support.
