VIDEO: This video explains what happens to your body when you stop having sex

Carl Kinsella

Have you been going through a dry spell?

Most of us will agree that a stuttering sex life is nothing to celebrate, but recent research suggests that a lack of sex might actually be bad for us – just like Green Day said in the second verse of Basket Case.

A video released by dating website Elite Daily claims that going without sex is correlated with poorer bladder control, erectile dysfunction and reduced brain power.

The video goes through a slew of further ill-effects that come with a life of celibacy, including low self-esteem and feelings of guilty.

Considering Elite Daily is a dating website, we think that it’s worth pointing out that it’s in their interest to try to get you to have sex but we can indeed confirm that crying into your McDonald’s Happy Meal at 4am because nobody would leave Coppers with you is, indeed, an unfortunate position to be in.
