JOE: Hi guys, can you tell us a little bit about your business…

James/David: We’re a personal training studio based in Clontarf. We specialise in all aspects of health nutrition and training. We work one on one, in small groups and we also have a group class schedule.

JOE: What sets you guys apart from other fitness studios?

James/David: We are very client focused. We don’t just see clients as a one hour personal training session, we are in constant contact with them and try to help improve all aspects of their lifestyle.

JOE: What’s your ultimate goal for your own business?

James/David: To expand our team and to continue improving the service we offer to our clients. Without our team and clients we don’t have a business.

JOE: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

James/David – To have our accounts in order! Liam Griffin, ex-Wexford hurling manager and owner of Monart told us that!

JOE: What’s the worst piece of advice you’ve ever received?

James/David – No advice is bad advice, it’s up to you to choose if and how to implement it. We got some legal advice when we first opened and in hindsight we should of done more research ourselves. That was one of our first learning points in business.

JOE: What’s been the highlight of your business career so far?

James/David – The reputation of The EDGE is the highlight for me. We have gone from just myself and James to building a strong, dedicated team of eight trainers. We are very lucky because we are helping clients everyday achieve their goals, change their lives in positive way.

We have also open a healthy eating restaurant “Fuel” on Vernon Avenue in Clontarf. This was a massive step for us and something we are enjoying building and developing.

JOE – What’s been the lowlight of your career so far?

James/David – I wouldnt say there has been a lowlight. I like to think we are constantly learning and improving. I enjoy the problem solving aspect of business.

JOE – When did you first hear about AdMailer?

James/David – Our marketing manager suggested it to us.

JOE – Why did you decide to try AdMailer?

James/David – We wanted to target a specific audience around our area for our group classes and it seemed to be the best option.

JOE – Have you noticed a difference since you started using it?

James/David – Yes, we’ve had a great repsonse to it.

JOE – Would you recommend using AdMailer to other start-up businesses? Why would you recommend using AdMailer to other start-up businesses?

James/David – Yes I would recommend it. Social media is saturated with advertisements so it can be hard to get your message to the people you want to hear it. AdMailer allows you to pick your target audience.

AdMailer is a direct marketing  tool, accessing the An Post database, for any business, individual or organisation who wants to target their products and services in the right direction.See AdMailer.ie for more information.
