Leinster Rugby senior performance nutritionist Daniel Davey plays a vital role in developing nutrition strategies to achieve performance-related goals and in increasing players’ understanding of how the right diet is important both on and off the pitch.

In the video above, he goes into detail about the type of food the Leinster players eat in the days leading up to a game, on the day of the game itself and in the hours after a game is over to ensure they’re in peak condition in time for kick-off and can start the recovery process immediately afterwards.
