Irish Life's new
MyLife app aims to help you improve your wellness in all aspects of your life. Better yet, it’s free to download from the
Android or
Apple app stores.
Not only does it help you track your sleeping patterns and activity levels, but it also gives you a personalised Health Score based on your overall lifestyle.
It's definitely one that'll come in handy for people of all ages and fitness levels, and all the better when it involves a bit of healthy competition. We're going head-to-head with the team over at
Her in a Step Squad Challenge, and need your help.
Set over two weeks, (
2–15 October) we'll be trying to reach a total of 140,000 steps per person. While that sounds like a lot, reaching an average of 10,000 steps a day is surprisingly achievable!
On top of the health benefits those who take part will feel, a lucky few will also walk away with some fantastic prizes. We have four Fitbit Charge 3 fitness watches to give away, as well as a whopping €500.
Once you’ve downloaded the app and registered, simply head to the Social section to find the
Step Squad Challenge.
Then choose to join either the JOE or Her team (we know you'll make the right choice) and walk, walk, walk. The team with the highest number of average steps at the end of the challenge will win.
Everyone from the winning team who has reached 140,000 steps will be entered into a draw for a Fitbit Charge 3, and whoever tops the charts in either team will win €500.
We're not going to pressure you into joining our team, instead we'll just leave a totally unrelated GIF right here.
